Partnership Framework

How D’Key Civic approaches working with others.

D’Key Civic welcomes partnership where it strengthens local community benefit and can be delivered in a lawful, proportionate and reputation-safe way. This page sets out the principles behind that approach.

Partnership principles

  • community benefit should be clear and capable of explanation;
  • roles and expectations should be stated in simple terms;
  • safeguarding and conduct considerations should be addressed where relevant;
  • branding, publicity and use of names should be agreed rather than assumed;
  • financial support or in-kind contributions should be recorded appropriately.

What D’Key Civic aims to provide

  • a responsive point of contact;
  • clear explanation of the intended activity or pilot;
  • reasonable visibility on governance and public standards; and
  • a delivery style that is collaborative, practical and community-focused.

Before a partnership goes live

Depending on the type of arrangement, D’Key Civic may use a lightweight written note, sponsorship confirmation, project scope note or memorandum-style understanding to ensure both sides are aligned on purpose, responsibilities, publicity and boundaries.
