Father’s Day Family Social approved album now live

D’Key Civic delivered the Father’s Day Family Social on Saturday 20 June 2026 at Christ Church Community Centre, Swindon. The approved public photo selection is now live.

Families enjoyed a warm, relaxed session with playing cards, egg and spoon, sack race, ring toss, arts and crafts, certificates and refreshments.

The approved public photographer selection has now been added to the event record, replacing the earlier placeholder/founder-only album status.

D'Key Civic Reaches 83 Facebook Followers

D'Key Civic has now reached 83 Facebook followers as our community continues to grow.

While the number itself is modest, every follower represents a real person who has chosen to connect with our work, events and community activities.

Over recent months, D'Key Civic has organised family-friendly events, developed new community resources, expanded the D'Key Civic website, launched new music and media content, and continued building positive relationships within the local community.

We would like to thank everyone who has followed our page, attended events, shared posts, offered encouragement, volunteered their time or supported our journey in any way.

Father’s Day Family Social officially announced

D’Key Civic has now publicly announced the Father’s Day Family Social, a relaxed indoor community session designed to celebrate fathers and bring families together in a warm, welcoming setting.

The event is scheduled for Saturday 20 June 2026, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, at Christ Church Community Centre, Cricklade Street, Old Town, Swindon, SN1 3HB.

What families can expect on the day

The session is being positioned as a modest, family-friendly indoor gathering with enough structure to feel organised without becoming overcomplicated.

• Games and activities, including dominoes, cards, chess, and more
• Races and relays, including egg and spoon and sack race activities
• Father’s Day card-making for children
• Bingo with fun prizes, Father’s Day certificates, and light refreshments

Final details and any small updates will continue to be carried through the event page and website.

RSVP page preserved as a closed event record

The Father’s Day Family Social has now been delivered. The RSVP route is closed and the page has been retained as a public record for visitors who followed the original registration link.

Keeping the page available helps preserve continuity from the campaign period into the post-event proof record.

Thank you, Swindon — Easter Community Event delivered

Our Easter community event took place on Sunday 5 April 2026 at Christ Church Community Centre, and we want to sincerely thank everyone who came out, supported, volunteered and helped make the day a success.

It was a strong step forward for D’Key Civic and a meaningful reminder of what local community spirit can look like in practice.

A warm thank you to families, children and supporters

Thank you to every family, parent, carer, child and local supporter who came along and added life, warmth and energy to the day. Your presence helped turn the event into a genuine community moment.

We are grateful for the encouragement, the attendance and the positive spirit shown throughout.

Volunteer support helped the day run well

Thank you to the volunteers and helpers who gave their time, attention and effort on the day. Calm, practical support behind the scenes and in public-facing roles made a real difference.

Three thoughtful cards received after the event

One of the most touching moments came right at the end of the day, when we received three cards after the event — thank-you cards along with Easter cards.

Small gestures like that carry real meaning, and we appreciated them deeply.

Families can use the dedicated Easter Photos page to view the reviewed website highlight, use the Facebook viewing route, and request checks, corrections or removals where needed.

D’Key Civic has now delivered a live public event

This matters because it moves D’Key Civic further from planning into delivery. Events, proof, community trust and visible follow-through are all part of building something stable and credible over time.
