Community Intelligence Desk reaches production-candidate standard

D’Key Civic’s Community Network now includes source-aware What’s On, Funding & Support Watch, Community Spotlight and a public Sources & Check Dates register.

The final August trust pass adds scheduled source rechecks and automatic freshness warnings, while Ask Nello shows explicit provenance notes for source-sensitive answers. The aim is practical community usefulness without confusing third-party services with D’Key Civic programmes or implying partnerships that do not exist.

D'Key Civic Reaches 86 Facebook Followers

Updated 14 September 2026

D'Key Civic has now reached 86 Facebook followers as of 14 September 2026. The growth is modest but steady as Winter 2026 planning, community information and local engagement continue.

While the number itself is modest, every follower represents a real person who has chosen to connect with our work, events and community activities.

Over recent months, D'Key Civic has organised family-friendly events, developed new community resources, expanded the D'Key Civic website, launched new music and media content, and continued building positive relationships within the local community.

We would like to thank everyone who has followed our page, attended events, shared posts, offered encouragement, volunteered their time or supported our journey in any way.

  • Supporting families and communities
  • Creating welcoming local events
  • Building positive partnerships
  • Providing practical community outreach and care
  • Creating opportunities for connection and belonging

Thank you for being part of the journey so far.

Father’s Day Family Social approved album now live

7 July 2026

D’Key Civic delivered the Father’s Day Family Social on Saturday 20 June 2026 at Christ Church Community Centre, Swindon. The approved public photo selection is now live.

Families enjoyed a warm, relaxed session with playing cards, egg and spoon, sack race, ring toss, arts and crafts, certificates and refreshments.

The approved public photographer selection has now been added to the event record, replacing the earlier placeholder/founder-only album status.

Photo credit and thanks to Darius and James for capturing the event, including the JDon Photos reference previously used for the civic photo archive.

It was a strong step forward for D’Key Civic and a meaningful reminder of what local community spirit can look like in practice.

Moments

Three thoughtful cards received after the event

One of the most touching moments came right at the end of the day, when we received three cards after the event — thank-you cards along with Easter cards.

Small gestures like that carry real meaning, and we appreciated them deeply.
